Forgiveness can be a loaded topic. It’s almost always tied to pain—either pain that we’ve caused or pain that we’ve experienced. This makes forgiveness difficult to process and difficult to act on. In this episode, Krystal and Shelby break down what biblical forgiveness is, why we are able to forgive even when it’s hard, and how to handle forgive difficult people. We pray that this episode reminds you of all that you’ve been forgiven of in Christ and encourages you to forgive others for big offenses and small ones.     Sign up for the Daily Grace Podcast Newsletter and receive the free resource "Scripture for Every Season.”   Time Stamps: 2:46 - Favorite Things 4:45 - A personal story of forgiveness 9:56 - Where do we see forgiving one another in Scripture? 13:52 - Scripture's high standard of forgiveness 20:05 - Forgiving as we have been forgiven 24:55 - How can we we forgive people we don't like? 27:19 - How do we handle forgiving people who are unsafe to be around? 29:49 - How does the gospel inform the way we forgive one another?   Favorite Thing: A Minute to Think Book Bullet Journal   Resources mentioned in this episode:  Episode 173: Pornography: Can My Marriage Recover? w/Lyschel Burket Forgiving What You Can’t Forget Book  The Peacemaker Book Episode 212: When to Walk Away From Toxic People w/Gary Thomas   Connect with us: Subscribe to Daily Grace: on iOS, go to our Apple podcast page and click subscribe.  On Android, click this podcast RSS feed link and choose your podcast app.  If needed, you can copy this link directly into your favorite podcast app (like Stitcher or Overcast).
