The Daily Grace Podcast

The Daily Grace Podcast exists to encourage and equip women to seek God in His Word. Our goal is for women to know that deep Bible study, sound doctrine, and rich theology are not just for the seminary student or pastor, but are accessible and transformational for all believers. We want to invite women to join us in our conversation about our great God, and be encouraged to seek a deeper knowledge of God that leads them to live their lives for God glory as they grow in love and awe in response to who He is. The Daily Grace Podcast is a weekly podcast brought to you by The Daily Grace Co.

Many of our fears are heightened right now. Some of us fight our fears by trying to will them away. We remember verses like “do not be afraid” and “do not be anxious” and think our fears reveal a weak faith, which makes us feel like not-good-enough Christians. Today, we’re joined by Kristen Wetherell, and she reminds us that we don’t have to fight our fears that way. Instead, we are invited to trust God and believe that He is for us. Kristen walks us through how we can fight our fears in a healthy, practical way.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Jesus is in every verse, passage, and chapter of the Bible. What does this mean? Should we be looking for a hidden reference to Christ in every single verse? What does it mean to see Christ in all of Scripture? We believe the whole Bible points to Jesus. In the Story of Scripture, He is the main character! Having a Christ-centered approach to Scripture helps us make sense of the OT and NT, but this takes practice! We talk about why this is crucial for Bible study, and how we can individually do this.     Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Food and fellowship go hand in hand, but it’s not always easy to do. While the benefits are clear, the barriers are also very real. We feel pressed for time and money. We worry if it’ll be awkward or we’ll be rejected by others. We stress about food allergies and dietary preferences. We get it! In this episode, we get really practical about how we can work in and through these barriers, and how we can make fellowshipping with others around the table a priority and reality.   Connect with us: www.dailygracepodcast.com www.thedailygraceco.com https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/ https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/   Questions? Food and Fellowship

Tuesday Oct 27, 2020

Food has a special way of fostering deeper conversations and knitting hearts together. There is something powerful about gathering around the table with other people. We believe that food is a generous gift from God, and it can be a means to point others to the goodness of God. Thus, food can play a significant role in evangelism and discipleship. There are so many ways food can help believers cultivate meaningful relationships both inside and outside the church.      Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? “You do you. Everything depends on you. You need an escape. Be more than just a mom.” Have you heard any of these? What’s your response? Is it freedom or stress? Our society imposes these standards to tell us how to be a good mom or good person. But rather than finding freedom, rest, and peace, we are left with our shame and failures. Maggie Combs talks to us about the problem with “you do you.” This isn’t the answer! Instead, she encourages us to practice daily repentance and find true forgiveness in Christ!    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? How should Christians view an eco-friendly lifestyle? How should we view makeup? How can we witness to someone who thinks she’s saved? What even is a good way to present the gospel? How can we keep Christ at the center of our marriages? What advice is there for a stay-at-home mom who feels like she’s losing her identity? You all submitted so many great questions! Some were serious while others were more fun and personal. There are so many different churches out there. Different denominations with varying musical styles and traditions. What does healthy, corporate worship look like? This goes beyond musical preferences. When we go to Scripture, we see many elements that should make up a corporate worship service. We are joined by Jeremy Schmucker, and he points us to God’s Word and helps us see that God tells His people how He wants to be worshipped. There is something special about physically coming together to worship!    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Learning the Voice of God

Tuesday Sep 29, 2020

Tuesday Sep 29, 2020

Can we hear God’s voice today? Yes, we can! It may not be an audible voice from a burning bush, but believers can absolutely know the voice of God. This is because God primarily speaks through Scripture. As we study the Bible, we familiarize ourselves with the tone of His voice. In a world full of voices, we need to do something to ensure that God’s voice is loudest and clearest. We talk about how we can do that practically, and how we can allow God’s voice to be a guiding voice in our everyday lives.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? God’s Design for Sex

Tuesday Sep 22, 2020

Tuesday Sep 22, 2020

Sex is everywhere. Movies, TV shows, music, books, advertisements, and even children’s resources! Our culture says sex is one’s right to enjoy whenever, however, and with whomever one pleases. Many think the Christian view of sex is oppressive or repressive. Some Christians think sex is dirty and a necessary evil for procreation. But what does the Bible say? What is God’s design for sex? What sexual ethic does Scripture promote? We need to go to God’s Word to have a healthy vision for sex!     Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Have you ever felt empty? Loneliness, disappointment, dissatisfaction with life, fear of an unknown future. We all feel some sense of emptiness on this side of eternity, and sometimes, our emptiness can cause us to feel despair or beyond God’s reach. Today, we are joined by Nancy Guthrie, and she reminds us that emptiness never stopped God from doing His glorious work. We can even see the theme of emptiness traced throughout the Bible! And what we see is this: God does His best work with empty.     Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions?
