The Daily Grace Podcast

The Daily Grace Podcast exists to encourage and equip women to seek God in His Word. Our goal is for women to know that deep Bible study, sound doctrine, and rich theology are not just for the seminary student or pastor, but are accessible and transformational for all believers. We want to invite women to join us in our conversation about our great God, and be encouraged to seek a deeper knowledge of God that leads them to live their lives for God's glory as they grow in love and awe in response to who He is.

The Daily Grace Podcast is a weekly podcast brought to you by The Daily Grace Co.

Jesus is the Savior of the world. Does that truth cause you to sing for joy? It is a simple but profound gospel truth that has widespread implications. We are joined by singer-songwriter, Sandra McCracken, and she explores the popular holiday song, “Joy to the World” with us. This is a song that has crossed the secular divide, but it is a song that points to the hope of Christ. The lyrics hold Advent themes as they call us to look back and remember what Christ has done and also look forward to what’s sure to come.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? When life gets hard, what is your hope? What helps you weather the storms of life? As believers, we will experience suffering and hardships on this side of eternity. We have to ask: what helps us persevere and not lose hope? The key is to set our eyes, hearts, and minds on eternity. This is really important, but even as believers, we may not know the why and how. In this episode, we talk about what setting our eyes on eternity means, and how we can practically do it in our everyday lives.     Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Advent is around the corner. The joy of Christmas is starting to fill the air. This year more than ever though, many of us are feeling the tension between the suffering and heartache of this broken world and the joy of Christmas. “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day” is a beautiful Advent hymn that works through this dissonance, and singer/songwriter Caroline Cobb helps us navigate through the lyrics to uncover the beauty that is Jesus, the reason for the season.     Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? “Christians are closed-minded. They lack logic and reason.” Ever heard this? The truth is, believers can and should be deep thinkers. If we’re in Christ, we are redeemed: body, MIND, and soul! Faith and intellectual integrity go hand-in-hand! We should engage our minds and think deeply about Scripture, our beliefs, and our convictions. We should think deeply about the grey areas of life! We believe this helps us love God and love our neighbors better! But it takes humility, effort, and the help of the Spirit.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Many of our fears are heightened right now. Some of us fight our fears by trying to will them away. We remember verses like “do not be afraid” and “do not be anxious” and think our fears reveal a weak faith, which makes us feel like not-good-enough Christians. Today, we’re joined by Kristen Wetherell, and she reminds us that we don’t have to fight our fears that way. Instead, we are invited to trust God and believe that He is for us. Kristen walks us through how we can fight our fears in a healthy, practical way.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Jesus is in every verse, passage, and chapter of the Bible. What does this mean? Should we be looking for a hidden reference to Christ in every single verse? What does it mean to see Christ in all of Scripture? We believe the whole Bible points to Jesus. In the Story of Scripture, He is the main character! Having a Christ-centered approach to Scripture helps us make sense of the OT and NT, but this takes practice! We talk about why this is crucial for Bible study, and how we can individually do this.     Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Food and fellowship go hand in hand, but it’s not always easy to do. While the benefits are clear, the barriers are also very real. We feel pressed for time and money. We worry if it’ll be awkward or we’ll be rejected by others. We stress about food allergies and dietary preferences. We get it! In this episode, we get really practical about how we can work in and through these barriers, and how we can make fellowshipping with others around the table a priority and reality.   Connect with us: www.dailygracepodcast.com www.thedailygraceco.com https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/ https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/   Questions? Food has a special way of fostering deeper conversations and knitting hearts together. There is something powerful about gathering around the table with other people. We believe that food is a generous gift from God, and it can be a means to point others to the goodness of God. Thus, food can play a significant role in evangelism and discipleship. There are so many ways food can help believers cultivate meaningful relationships both inside and outside the church.      Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? “You do you. Everything depends on you. You need an escape. Be more than just a mom.” Have you heard any of these? What’s your response? Is it freedom or stress? Our society imposes these standards to tell us how to be a good mom or good person. But rather than finding freedom, rest, and peace, we are left with our shame and failures. Maggie Combs talks to us about the problem with “you do you.” This isn’t the answer! Instead, she encourages us to practice daily repentance and find true forgiveness in Christ!    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions?
