The Daily Grace Podcast
The Daily Grace Podcast exists to encourage and equip women to seek God in His Word. Our goal is for women to know that deep Bible study, sound doctrine, and rich theology are not just for the seminary student or pastor, but are accessible and transformational for all believers. We want to invite women to join us in our conversation about our great God, and be encouraged to seek a deeper knowledge of God that leads them to live their lives for God's glory as they grow in love and awe in response to who He is.
The Daily Grace Podcast is a weekly podcast brought to you by The Daily Grace Co.

How should Christians view an eco-friendly lifestyle? How should we view makeup? How can we witness to someone who thinks she’s saved? What even is a good way to present the gospel? How can we keep Christ at the center of our marriages? What advice is there for a stay-at-home mom who feels like she’s losing her identity? You all submitted so many great questions! Some were serious while others were more fun and personal. However, we believe the gospel can be applied to any and all of our questions! There are so many different churches out there. Different denominations with varying musical styles and traditions. What does healthy, corporate worship look like? This goes beyond musical preferences. When we go to Scripture, we see many elements that should make up a corporate worship service. We are joined by Jeremy Schmucker, and he points us to God’s Word and helps us see that God tells His people how He wants to be worshipped. There is something special about physically coming together to worship! Can we hear God’s voice today? Yes, we can! It may not be an audible voice from a burning bush, but believers can absolutely know the voice of God. This is because God primarily speaks through Scripture. As we study the Bible, we familiarize ourselves with the tone of His voice. In a world full of voices, we need to do something to ensure that God’s voice is loudest and clearest. We talk about how we can do that practically, and how we can allow God’s voice to be a guiding voice in our everyday lives. Sex is everywhere. Movies, TV shows, music, books, advertisements, and even children’s resources! Our culture says sex is one’s right to enjoy whenever, however, and with whomever one pleases. Many think the Christian view of sex is oppressive or repressive. Some Christians think sex is dirty and a necessary evil for procreation. But what does the Bible say? What is God’s design for sex? What sexual ethic does Scripture promote? We need to go to God’s Word to have a healthy vision for sex! Have you ever felt empty? Loneliness, disappointment, dissatisfaction with life, fear of an unknown future. We all feel some sense of emptiness on this side of eternity, and sometimes, our emptiness can cause us to feel despair or beyond God’s reach. Today, we are joined by Nancy Guthrie, and she reminds us that emptiness never stopped God from doing His glorious work. We can even see the theme of emptiness traced throughout the Bible! And what we see is this: God does His best work with empty. Endless waves of hard things going on in the world can cause us to ask if we are living in the end times. What actually leads up to the end? Should we be afraid? Some of us fear increased suffering. Others have a fear of missing out on experiences. Many fear impending judgment! But believers can face the end times with a deep anticipation for the return of Christ. No matter what we believe (premillenialism, postmillenialism, amillienialsm), knowing Jesus can return at any moment should compel us to live differently. Disagreements are hard, but they’re part of each of our realities due to our fallen nature. Maybe it’s a political or social issue. Maybe it’s a doctrinal issue. Maybe it’s a matter of personal conscience. There are a thousand things we can disagree on with others! So is there a way to disagree well? We believe there is, but it requires hard work. It requires humility and engaging in conversations with the goal of listening and learning. It requires acknowledging that we’re limited beings. And most importantly, it requires keeping the gospel central. Feelings can be complicated. Even within Christian circles, we can get mixed messages about how we should deal with our emotions. Today, Courtney Reissig reminds us that believers can truly engage with their emotions in a healthy + biblical way! This includes the “hard” feelings we may experience like grief, anxiety, and loneliness. We should feel something about the brokenness of this world! We don’t have to stuff our feelings or be enslaved to them. God’s Word can inform and shape our feelings! Who is the Holy Spirit, and what all does He do? Some people overemphasize the gifts of the Spirit, and others neglect the Spirit altogether. We need to have a biblical vision and understanding of the Holy Spirit in order to not miss out on what He has to offer us and to ascribe Him the honor/worship He deserves! The Spirit is an amazing gift, and He plays a tremendous role in the lives of believers. Let us respond to the Spirit, be filled by the Spirit, and walk in step with Him! “I’ll pray for you.” How many times have we said this and neglected to follow through? Can we actually develop a habit of praying for others? Today, we are joined by Maryanne Challies Helms, and she reminds us that we can be people who faithfully pray for others. She shares practical advice on how we can develop a habit of praying for others, and she gives encouragement for those who wrestle with the role of prayer and God’s sovereignty, unanswered prayers, and more.
